It is Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede time, and area residents know that usually means extremely hot weather.
The weather forecast calls for high temperatures to sit above 90 degrees throughout Stampede.
With that in mind, the Roosevelt County Health Department provides these reminders of precautions to take during hot weather.

The Roosevelt County Commissioners approved a slate of hires during their weekly meeting Tuesday, July 1.
Among the hires were temporary seasonal employees Darrell Synan in the Bainville area, Charles Pribbernow in the Poplar area and Roger Chamber in the McCabe area for mowing.
Commissioner Robert Toavs explained mowing will be conducted earlier than normal to hopefully have less fire danger.
