A Poplar man who admitted to robbery after carjacking a truck and stabbing the driver on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation was sentenced last week to 57 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said.
The defendant, Brandon Lee Romero, 30, pleaded guilty in August 2024 to robbery.

Pete Paulson, district manager for Orgill, explained that there are several Orgill stores in eastern Montana including ones in Plentywood and Sidney. He said Orgill is different than other companies, such as Ace Hardware, because Orgill doesn’t brand its stores by having its name on

After receiving a request, the booster club conducted the hospitality room at last weekend’s AAU wrestling tournament held in Wolf Point. The wrestling club made a donation to the booster club for the effort.
