July 1 marked the beginning of the archery-only paddlefish season in the Fort Peck Dredge Cuts below Fort Peck Dam, and it runs until Aug. 31. Archery anglers need to purchase a 2025 blue paddlefish harvest tag to target paddlefish in the Dredge Cuts, and no snagging is allowed. Wolf Point is planning a pair of football camps on July 21-22. The Lil Wolves/junior high camp is from 9-10:30 a.m. each day at the junior high practice field. Register the day of the camp for grades 3-8. The high school football is from 6-7:30 p.m. each of the days.
