Strong Storm Strikes Fort Peck Area
The area around the dam at Fort Peck Reservoir was one of the areas hit the hardest by a powerful wind storm on Thursday, Aug. 7.
Ted Jamba, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Glasgow, said Duck Creek and Lambert were the two locations that suffered the greatest damage.
Wind gusts of up to 84 miles per hour were confirmed by a trained weather spotter near Duck Creek at 5:50
Students Earn Honors During Roosevelt County Fair
The 2025 Roosevelt County Fair Horse Show started Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m. at the Culbertson Saddle Club.
