The Wolf Point School Board approved both the elementary and high school budgets for the year during its meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 13. The elementary budget is $5,775,893.63. Angela Miller has resigned as the Roosevelt County Fair manager. Officials said that she submitted her resignation on Friday, Aug. 8, the last day of the fair, and finished working until the end of that day’s activities. The Roosevelt County Sheriff/Coroner reports that there a 14-year-old juvenile male was the victim of a fatal shooting on Friday, Aug. 15. Deputies responded to a report of an accidental shooting on Eighth Avenue North close to 7:30 a.m. on Friday. The suspect in the shooting is a 13-year-old male.
