The Wolf Point Fire Department’s Volunteer Ball Association invites the public to a chili cook off at the Elks Club’s Event Center on Saturday, Nov. 8.
Supper is scheduled for 7 p.m., and cook-off results will be announced at 9 p.m. There is a door entry cost of $20.
The night will also include a silent auction, a 52 card raffle and live music from Northern Lightning.

The fall days have become brisk with temperatures ranging in the 30-40s. Northern lights continue to grace the skies at night and they reflect the creative handiwork of the way north, sometimes including the ice ravines.
The youth of our community have been kept occupied with school, Awana and the sports activities. Wednesday was Character Day at Awana and students dressed up as a Bible character.
