Melissa Sioux Jackson Mitchell, 42, of Billings died Jan. 2, 2022. 
	  She was born Aug. 27, 1979, in Wolf Point to Maynard  Jackson, Jr. and Agnes “Baby Girl” Spottedwolf. She attended school from kindergarten  through the third grade in Frazer and graduated from Poplar High School. She then went to Poplar Community  College and graduated with a business degree and a degree in computer science. She worked for the Fort Peck Tribes in the loans department. 
	  She is survived by her husband, Bobby Mitchell; daughter, Blain Marie Medicine  Elk; son, Isiah Jayden Medicine Elk; mother, Agnes  “Baby Girl” Spottedwolf; sisters, Tara Rasmusson of Minnesota, Sabrina Smoker of Frazer and Sharon Lilly of Wolf Point; and brothers, Clint Jackson of Wolf Point and Dexter White of Frazer. 
	  She was preceded in death by her sister, Blain Marie Jackson; brother, Jarred Tyme Jackson Smoker; and stepfather,  Peter “Sam” Boxer. 
	  Her funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 17, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial  Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment  followed at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Frazer. Clayton Stevenson Memorial  Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.
