Teams Win Honors at Women’s Walleye Tourney
The team of Peyton Pedersen and Mykayla Lauckner earned top honors during the Fort Peck Women’s Walleye Tournament held on Saturday, July 29.
Lauckner of Nashua and Pedersen won the championship with a total weight of 23.87 pounds.
Although Lauckner has enjoyed some success this season with a different partner, this was the first time that she and Pedersen have competed at a tournament
Berwick Sisters Continue Preparations For Roosevelt County Fair
It is almost show time for 4-H members across Roosevelt County. The annual county fair is Aug. 8-12 in Culbertson and the event includes the livestock auction starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11.

Baseball Players Receive Honors For Season
The Wolf Point Babe Ruth and American Legion program capped its season with an awards ceremony and meal on Sunday, July 30.
Coach Scott Vandall noted that the Babe Ruth season featured a lot of learning for the young ballplayers.
“We tried to keep putting in the work and the time,” Vandall said.
He was pleased that Carlos Weiser was selected to the All-Star team.
