Wolf Point’s girls’ basketball squad put together a strong comeback bid but fell short at Glasgow, 46-39, on Friday, Jan. 28. Wolf Point Drops Contest In Glasgow


Wolf Point lost by a 66-51 final at Glasgow during boys’ basketball action on Friday, Jan. 28. A highlight for the Wolves in the physical contest came when junior guard Kelby Bauer connected on a buzzer shot that covered nearly three-quarters of the court to end the opening half. The Wolves, who played a good amount of the half without injured Jaxon Azure and Kraven Silk, trailed 30-22 at intermission.

Gymnasts Compete At Mandan Meet


Fifteen girls from the Eastern Montana Gymnastics Team traveled to Mandan on Jan. 22 and won two team trophies, four first-place allaround awards and seven first-place event awards. Williamson Andrew Williamson of Wolf Point won the boys’ ages 10-11 Elks district Hoop Shoot free throw competition in Glendive held on Saturday, Jan. 22. He was previously the boys’ 10-11 champion at the Wolf Point Hoop Shoot in November 2021. He will compete at the Montana State Hoop Shoot competition in Livingston on Saturday, Feb. 5.
