The Optimist Club of Wolf Point has set a goal of making a mile of pennies leading up Sixth Avenue North. The attempt will be made Sunday, June 7. Event organizers Helen Welte and Gloria Sande say they will start laying the first coins along the route at 2 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to the group’s childhood health and wellness fund.
