Lustre Christian swept basketball contests at Frazer on Saturday, Feb. 4. In the girls’ game, the Lions earned a 63-45 league victory. The Lions jumped out to an 18-9 lead in the first quarter. Harada Takes First In Poplar Fishing Contest

The 15th annual Poplar Ice Fishing Contest took place with good participation on Saturday, Feb. 4. Steve Harada of Wolf Point earned first place and was a $2,000 winner with a 2.5 pound pike. Poplar’s Bighorn To Attend Super Bowl With Chiefs

Poplar native Myltin Bighorn will be on the sports world’s biggest stage on Sunday, Feb. 12, as part of the Kansas City Chiefs’ organization at the Super Bowl.
