DPHHS Urges Providers To Monitor For Cases Of Lead Poisoning

Federal, state, and local officials are urging medical providers to be on the lookout for possible cases of lead poisoning in children after at least 22 toddlers in 14 states were sickened as of Nov. 7, by lead linked to tainted pouches of cinnamon apple puree and applesauce. Gas Prices Continue To Decrease

Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 11.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.31/g on Monday, Nov. 20, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 58.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 40.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 6.9 cents in the last week and stands at $4.28

Fort Peck Community College is offering HiSet testing Friday, Dec. 8, in Poplar at the James E. Shanley Tribal Library. The test time will be 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The HiSET is a High School Equivalency credential accepted by every state, territory and jurisdiction, as well as by the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. military and federal programs.
