Lady Wolves Qualify For Divisional Tournament
The Lady Wolves were in serious trouble during the fourth quarter of their loser- out contest against Fairview at the District 2B tournament in Malta on Saturday. With under six minutes remaining, Wolf Point trailed by six points and scoring standout Maci Fourstar had fouled out.

Wolf Point Girls Knock Off Plentywood, 64-46, At Tourney
The Wolf Point girls’ basketball squad never trailed in downing Plentywood, 64-46, in loser-out play at the District 2B tournament in Malta on Friday, Feb. 27.
The Wolves opened the contest on a 10-run with Maci Fourstar scoring six of the points and Adalynn Smith and Marley Moran adding baskets.
After Plentywood fought back to 11-6, Cadence Bouldin fired in a three-pointer for Wolf Point.
Poplar Edges Wolves For Third Place
The Poplar Indians enjoyed a big third quarter and held off Wolf Point, 52-49, in the third-place game of the District 2B girls’ basketball tournament in Malta on Saturday.
Wolf Point held a 33-28 half-time advantage, but Poplar outscored the Wolves, 130, in the third quarter for a 41-33 lead. Journey Gourneau scored eight points in the period.

Chasen Pribbernow hit a deep three-pointer with 2.8 seconds left and was fouled on the play. The sophomore then hit a free throw to lift the Indians over Wolf Point, 73-72, and earn
