Chelsea Anne Pribbernow Beauchamp, 38, died May 17, 2024, in Poplar. She was born Nov. 25, 1985, to Connie Sutherland and Charles Pribbernow Sr. She was raised and educated in Poplar. She met and married Pat Beauchamp in 2006 and, from that marriage, she had four children, Bryson, Andrew, Payton and Colter. She and Pat then separated in 2015. She then met Mervin Garfield and had her last child, Ivory Garfield. She worked a few jobs housekeeping, cashier and casino attendant over the years. She had lived in Parker, Ariz., Wolf Point, Havre and Great Falls, then returned to Poplar in 2023. She enjoyed cooking frybread, doing beadwork, hanging out with friends and

James Iron Bear Sr.

James Iron Bear Sr.


James K. “Son” Iron Bear Sr., 62, died May 17, 2024, in Poplar. He was born to Mary Red Feather and Harry IronBear Sr. on Oct. 27, 1961, in Poplar. He attended school in Poplar. In 1985, he enlisted in the Army. Around the same time, he met Lanelle R. Ricker. Together, they had four children, Jessica, Carrie, Brittany and James IronBear Jr. He worked most of his life to provide for his family. He worked at A& S Industries, various other places and ASWRSS until he retired in 2019. He enjoyed being home with his grandchildren. He loved being with family and loved talking to his sisters and brothers. He would always joke around, laugh and listen to his rock music. In his early years, he liked to cruise around. He is survived by his children, Jess, Carrie, Brittany and James Jr. of Poplar.; numerous grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Buckles, Linda
