Volleyball Teams Compete During Tournament In Culbertson


Volleyball squads from Culbertson, Froid/Lake and Bainville each accounted for highlights during the Culbertson Invitational on Saturday, Aug. 27. Savage earned first place in the eight-team tournament by defeating Scobey, 21-25, 25-21, 15-8, in the title match. Culbertson During pool play, the Culbertson Cowgirls were undefeated with victories over Savage, Lustre Christian and Scobey.

Members of the Nakoda Dakota Oyate Youth Council attended the 30th annual Fort Peck Native Pride Youth Conference in Billings Aug. 15-19. Students from Frazer, Wolf Point, Poplar and Brockton made the trip.
