Cowgirls Look To Contend In District 2C Race
The Culbertson Cowgirls return plenty of experience and are shooting for great results this girls’ basketball season.
Five girls who have starting experience are back for the Cowgirls, who placed third at the district tournament last season.

That winning feeling. After advancing to the semi-final round of the state football playoffs this fall, the Culbertson Cowboys are looking forward to more success this boys’ basketball season.
“Our attitude in football was so good I can’t even describe it,” Culbertson coach Mark Pederson said. “The chemistry is so good.”

Bainville Girls Ready To Move Up In League Standings
With three returning starters and several other key girls back, the Bainville Bulldogs are excited about the upcoming basketball season.
The Bulldogs, who have a turnout of 11 players, return starters Elsie Wilson, a sophomore, Tally Berwick, a sophomore, and freshman Hailey Berwick. Additional varsity experience comes from sophomore Miah Pippenger and juniors Brecklyn Pippenger, Kendra
Bainville Features Good Experience Entering Boys’ Season
The Bainville Bulldogs return four players with starting experience from last season’s team that placed fourth at the Eastern C boys’ basketball divisional tournament.
Top returning players for the Bulldogs include senior Ayden Knudsen, junior Sam Butikofer, junior Chuck Butikofer and junior Alex Strickland.
