Froid Council Approves Cell Tower Upgrade

The Froid Town Council held its regular meeting July 14. A broken lift station pump was reported and discussed. A replacement is being ordered, with the possible purchase of a rebuilt or used pump. It was reported that a Department of Environmental Quality “sludge judge” will arrive to test the town’s lagoon. More information is expected at the August council meeting. Council members

Hearings Conducted In District Court

District Judge Benjamin Fosland presided over several cases in Wolf Point on Wednesday, July 16. Two of the hearings involved petitions for revocation. Theron Richard Hagadone denied the allegation that he possessed or used alcohol or illegal drugs. Hagadone originally had a three year deferred sentence for possession of drugs.
