Noxious Weed Trust Grant Applications Available

The Montana Department of Agriculture announced the opening of the FY2026 funding cycle for the Noxious Weed Trust Fund Grant Program.

Established by the 1985 Montana Legislature, the Noxious Weed Trust Fund grants provide funding for noxious weed research projects, development projects, state and community education, and onthe- ground management through a landowner cost share.

Applicants may apply for funding up to $75,000 per project.

Applications are due Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, via Web-Grants.
