Roosevelt County DUI Task Force Recognizes 10-Year Anniversary
Created in May 2014, the Roosevelt County DUI Task Force continues to work towards combating the issue of impaired driving in Roosevelt County. The task force is a team representing a diverse cross section of the county’s respective communities.
This team is dedicated to assessing and mobilizing a county-wide injury prevention plan and encourages safe driving habits. Community education efforts

Public Comment Being Accepted On Proposals For June 20 FWP Commission Meeting
The Fish and Wildlife Commission is accepting public comment on agenda items for its June 20 meeting. The meeting will be held through Zoom only.
To make a comment during the meeting, persons must register by noon on June 19 on Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ website. Written comments can also be submitted through May 27 on the FWP website or sent to 1420 E. 6th Ave., Helena, MT 59601, Attn: Erik

PLPW Advisory Committee To Meet May 14-15
The Private Land/Public Wildlife Advisory Committee will meet May 14-15 at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks’ Region 5 office in Billings.
The public can attend in person or register to make public comment via Zoom. The meeting runs from 1 to 5 p.m. on May 14 and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on May 15.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Missouri River Water Management Division held its second weekly virtual meeting on Wednesday, May 1.

Clean Up Dates Set Across Reservation
The Fort Peck 2024 Cleanup dates have been set for communities across the reservation.
Cleanup crews will be going through each of the following communities: Frazer and Brockton efforts are scheduled for May 10. Wolf Point’s cleanup day is scheduled for May 15. Poplar’s cleanup is set for May 22 and Fort Kipp is set for May 28.
Anyone with larger items to be hauled to the dumps (e.g.

The enrollment period is officially open for classes running June 4 to July 25.
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Language and Culture building in Poplar and the Wolf Point Community Center.
