Erin and Cody Rhodes hosted an informative meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Culbertson Town Hall to discuss complaints against Culbertson School District staff and administration. The meeting lasted approximately an hour. Rhodes told the Community News, “I feel the meeting went well and was very productive.” She said she thought attendance was affected by perceived “fear of retaliation.”

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 91 cases during Nov. 3-10. The calls included the following: Nov. 3 Deputies responded to the Poplar city limits for a report of a burglary. The house, where three alleged murders took place in September was boarded up by family members. The report was that someone broke into the house and stole about $1,000 worth of jewelry and beadwork.
