The Culbertson Women’s Club hosted the Breakfast with Santa fundraiser festivities at the high school cafeteria Dec. 2. Santa, Mrs. Claus and one excellent elf received special assistance from locals Ron and Cheryl Arthur and Karen Larsen Synan.

The Roosevelt County 4-H clubs have a total of 92 members and leaders, and they held their 2023 Achievement Day on Nov. 12, at the Bainville Firehall. The Tumbleweed 4-H Club hosted the event where 4-H members were recognized for their work in their projects and membership.
Each year, 4-H members with large animal projects are ultrasounded for carcass judging to see if they qualify for the highest

The county has 4,190 residents employed, which is 80 less than a year ago.
Also tied for 47th place at 3.7 percent are Chouteau, Wheatland and Wibaux counties.
Fallon is the county with the lowest unemployment at 1.9 percent followed by McCone at 2 percent and Daniels at 2.1
