Roosevelt County commissioners unanimously approved the hiring of Erika Fyfe as a temporary employee to the clerk of court office during a meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 20. The position will run through Dec. 31 when a new clerk of court/ superintendent of schools takes over duties. Fyfe is the only candidate on the ballot for the positions.
