The Bainville Bulldogs handed Lustre Christian a 2513, 25-14, 25-14, home volleyball defeat on Friday, Oct. 11. The Lions cut the margin to 10-5 on a kill by Hannah Brown in the first set, but Bainville gained a 15-5 lead on the net play of Lila Butikofer, Hailey Berwick and Miah Pippenger. The Froid/Lake Red Hawks scored a straight set victory over Richey/Lambert in road volleyball action on Friday, Oct. 11. The Red Hawks claimed a 25-11, 25-20, 25-20 conference win. Froid/Lake jumped out to a 17-8 advantage in the second set, but a kill by Kally Strohm helped to close the margin to 18-14. Kills by Brooklynn Nordwick and Mara Salvevold led the Red Hawks to a 22-15 lead.
