                    Cowboys Stop Poplar, 58-8
						The Culbertson Cowboys jumped out to a 38-0 halftime  lead and defeated Poplar,  58-8, at home on Friday, Sept. 12. 
	  The Cowboys struck on their first offensive possession  when quarterback Brooks Solem broke loose for a 38-yard touchdown run for a 6-0 lead. 
	  After a sack by Micah Eagle  Boy put the Indians back to the one-yard line, Aden Drake sacked Poplar’s quarterback  for a safety.						
                        
                        
                    
                    Bulldogs Take Third In Tournament
						Bainville’s volleyball squad emerged with a third-place showing at the 14-team Class C Scobey Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 13.  The Bulldogs placed third during pool play. Victories came against Lustre Christian and Terry. Bainville split sets with Circle, but the Wildcats won based on total points. 
	  During tournament play, the Bulldogs opened with a tough two-set victory over Scobey.

                    Cowgirls Edge Froid/Lake In League Match
						In a marathon volleyball match, Culbertson edged Froid/Lake at home on Thursday, Sept. 11. 
	  The Cowgirls won by a 25-9, 25-16, 23-25, 21-25, 22-20 final. 
	  In the fifth and deciding set, the Red Hawks took a 14-13 lead on a kill by Isabelle Nordwick. The Cowgirls saved a match point and tied the score at 14-14 on a kill by Leandra Perkins. 
	  A pair of kills by Emma Berwick put Culbertson ahead						
                        
                        
                    
                    Runners Place In Scobey
						Cross country athletes from Culbertson/Bainville and Froid/Lake competed at the Scobey Invitational on Friday, Sept. 12. 
	  In the boys’ division, Cal Steppler of Culbertson/Bainville  finished seventh with a time of 19:57.42. 
	  Arlie Purvis placed 28th at 23:27.52. Gunner Glas took 33rd at 24:47.82. 
	  Colton Glas finished 38th at 26:54.76.
