Culbertson’s Lauren Rumsey (left) attended a talk and presentation by paraplegic rodeo cowgirl, barrel racer and motivational speaker Amberley Snyder on March 5 at Williston High School. Brockton Student Wins County Bee Title
Eager spellers took part in the Roosevelt County Spelling Bee held in Froid on Thursday, Feb. 27.
Keane DeJano of Brockton came away with top honors from the spelling bee. He advances to the state competition scheduled in Bozeman on Saturday, March 22.
Gabe Uy of Frontier placed second at the county bee. Liberty Boadle of Poplar took third place honors.
