Froid/Lake Looks To Contend


By Bill Vander Weele The Froid/Lake Red Hawks aim to be one of the top volleyball teams in Eastern C again this season. The Red Hawks return five starters including senior Meg Ator, 5-10 junior Dasani Nesbit, 5-10 junior Carolyne Christoffersen, junior setter Baylee Davidson and junior Aleah Johnson. Nesbit and Christoffersen each were second team All-Conference selections last year.

By Bill Vander Weele Bainville’s volleyball squad is looking forward to a successful season in 2021. The Bulldogs feature nine players this year. Senior leaders include Kaitlyn Adkins and Lakyn Rabbe. “We’re already ahead of last year,” Bainville coach Kallie Clark said. “I’m really happy with what I’ve seen.” Sophomores are Brecklyn Pippenger, Kendra Romo, Kaelyn Romo
