A good turnout of experienced and new skaters attended the skate jam and beginners clinic at the Wolf Point Skate Park at the end of June. The event was organized by the Caŋku program, a Native youth community project. Liddell Small won for the longest grind. Mateo Villalvazo took first for the highest ollie. Matejovsky Earns All-American Honors


Annaleigh Matejovsky, an incoming freshman at Wolf Point High School, captured honors during the recent AAU National Wrestling Championships held in Florida. Matejovsky was a member of Team Montana Gold. The squad took eighth place out of 18 teams in the gold bracket. Her record was 12-3, which earned her All-American honors. The Wolf Point Airport Golf Course team defeated the Glasgow squad in Ryder Cup type golf action recently. Wolf Point finished with 27 points compared to Glasgow’s 25 points during the tournament held at the Sunnyside Country Club.
