A very strong wind storm created blizzard conditions in the area and some spots lost electrical power on Wednesday night, Dec. 17.
Lindsey McNabb, Roosevelt County’s disaster and emergency services coordinator, said that she sent out advisories to urge people to stay home during the night.

It was timely, as BSK had just committed to the purchase of state-of-the-art iPads and Apple Pro pens for students in its digital artistry class and to bringing Robin Heigis Cormier (Juve) on board.
