Human Stampede, Stanley Moran Jr. Memorial Runs Planned During Stampede Weekend Events
Two runs will be offered for participants in Wolf Point during Stampede weekend.
The first Stanley Moran Jr. Memorial 5K and one-mile walk/run is scheduled for Friday, July 11, starting at Sherman Park.
Onsite registration is offered beginning at 7 a.m. at the Shumway Gazebo.
The Coach’s Run, a 5K race, will kick off at 8 a.m. The Legacy mile, a walk or run, will start at about 8:30

Wild Horse Stampede Ranch Rodeo Set For Wednesday Night
The third annual Wild Horse Ranch Rodeo will entertain residents starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, at the Marvin Brookman Stadium.
A pitchfork fondue will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Big Sky Corral. Cost is $20.

Stampede To Feature Miss Teen Rodeo Montana
Carter County High School junior Bella Jensen will appear at the Wild Horse Stampede in her role as Miss Teen Rodeo Montana 2025.
Jensen, the 17-year-old daughter of Ty and Sarina O’Connor of Ekalaka and Chris Jensen of Spearfish, S.D., competed against a field of accomplished young women in a rigorous three-day competition. The pageant, hosted by the newly formed Miss Rodeo Montana Pageant


Huntley’s Allen Is Miss Rodeo Montana
Alli Allen of Huntley is this year’s Miss Rodeo Montana 2025. Growing up on a feedlot in Huntley, the cattle outnumbered Alli and her parents were outnumbered by over 2,000 to one. Life at the feedlot instilled the strong Montana values that Alli still holds to this day and deepened her appreciation for agriculture, as well as the western way of life.
