Love Has No Color Provides Gifts To Local Students


Area students received a touch of the holiday season a little early on Thursday, Dec. 9, when the Love Has No Color organization delivered gifts throughout the Fort Peck Reservation. Love Has No Color, featuring chiropractors throughout the country, is a partnership with the Assiniboine/ Sioux tribes with the goal of restoring health, dignities, cultural identity, traditional values and hope.

Hanks Resigns As Volleyball Coach, Jackson Appointed To School Board


After a long and successful stretch as Wolf Point High School’s head volleyball coach, Kim Hanks has resigned from that position. Her resignation was part of the agenda for the school board meeting held on Monday, Dec. 13. Also resigning was Karli Mc-Gowan as junior high girls’ basketball coach. “Thank you both for your service in those areas,” board chair Linda L. Hanson said.

Christmas Lighting Contest Scheduled In Wolf Point


The Wolf Point Lions Club and Wolf Point Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited will sponsor the annual Christmas lighting contest. Judging will take place after dark on Sunday, Dec. 19. All streets in Wolf Point as well as both housing areas will be judged automatically. If you live out of the city limits and within five miles, contact Lion Johnson at 406 650-7040 to be included.
