She lived in Poplar all her life. She was a bartender at majority of the bars in Poplar. She was the life of the party. Her friends knew she was that “once-in-a-lifetime friend.” In her last years, she

Mark Quincy McClammy, “Wakan Wiyaka Nunpa Wicasa” (Holy Two Eagle Feather Man), 33, of Poplar died July 31, 2020, at the Billings Clinic.
He was born to Jackie Stormy and Robert “Pinner” McClammy on May 7, 1987, in Poplar. As a young boy, he spent time living with his mother and stepfather John and his grandmother Lorraine. He was a grandma’s boy and enjoyed the time he spent with her.

The youngest daughter born to Elmer Sterling Red Eagle Sr. and Deloris Ann (Kirn) Red Eagle, she was born March 29, 1973 in Poplar. She grew up and attended school in Poplar. Azure To Compete In Las Vegas September 9
Northern Plains Independent Staff Poplar's Hunter Azure will look to get back on the winning track with his third Ultimate Fighting Championship battle in Las Vegas, Nev., on Sept. 5.
Azure, who won four state wrestling championships for Poplar, will fight Cole Smith in a bantamweight bout during UFC Vegas 9. The card is highlighted by Alistair Overeem taking on Augusto Sakai.
