Darrell Gene Christian, 40, died Aug. 21, 2020, in Poplar. He was born in Poplar on May 14, 1980, to Venetta Eagle and Darrell “Porky “Christian Sr. He was raised and educated in Poplar. Latoya Lambert, 32, died Aug. 19, 2020, in Billings. A prayer service were held on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 27, at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

The Valley County Long Run Fire Department announced Aug. 24 that the Hill Fire was largely contained as of Sunday.
