Native American Week was a big hit for the Wolf Point Junior/Senior High School. My appreciation goes to high school principal Kim Hanks. If it was not for her taking a chance on me to be the new Native American studies teacher, I wouldn’t be in the position to help create opportunities for the students. Obituaries Junia Walking Eagle-Jones Junia Faye Walking Eagle-Jones, 57, of Wolf Point died Sept. 28, 2020. She was born Nov. 26, 1962, to Donald Walking Eagle Sr and Ida Ricker-Walking Eagle. She attended Poplar Schools and went on to work at Poplar IHS for many years. She met and married Royce John Spotted Bird Sr. of Brockton. Throughout their marriage, she became a mother to six
