Nygaard Paul Douglas Nygaard made not guilty pleas to two counts of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs by accountability in district court on Wednesday, Nov. 16. An omnibus hearing was scheduled for Dec. 14. A trial was scheduled for Feb. 16, 2023. District judge David J. Cybulski approved a condition of bail so that Nygaard can enter a treatment program if a bed becomes available.

Dylan Troy Jackson, 20, of Wolf Point, is wanted in federal court following accusations of kidnapping and assaulting a teenage Indigenous girl on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in 2021.
