Cowboys Win Title At Richey/Lambert Meet


The Culbertson Cowboys accounted for 98 points to win the team title at the Richey/Lambert track meet on Wednesday, April 26. Froid/Lake earned second with 86 points. Plentywood took third with 78 points. Plentywood’s girls topped the girls’ standings with 138.5 points. Culbertson placed sixth with 29 points. Sophomore Bridger Salvevold led the Cowboys with two first-place performances

The Bainville track team came through with some solid performances during the Elks’ Invitational in Glendive on Saturday, April 29. Hailey Berwick, a freshman, finished in third place with a school record time of 1:02.72. The old school record was 1:03.1 by Joy Crusch in 1993. The Culbertson Cowboys scored well in field events during the Elks’ Invitational track meet held in Glendive on Saturday, April 29.
