Athletes from Culbertson/ Bainville enjoyed solid performances during the Glasgow Invitational meet at Fort Peck on Saturday, Oct. 4. Anna Steppler ran the course in 20:41.66 for third place in the girls’ division. Wolf Point’s Cali Gorder won the race with a time of 19:41.62. Rebekah Ellerkamp of Culbertson/ Bainville took 28th place at 24:16.72. Jade Lonebear placed 36th at 24:30.86.

The Bainville Bulldogs came away with second-place honors from a tough Richey/ Lambert volleyball tournament on Saturday, Oct. 4. Bainville posted a 3-0 record during pool play. The Bulldogs downed Alexander, N.D., 25-22, 20-20, MonDak, 25-10, 25-18 and Scobey, 25-20, 25-18. The Bulldogs then opened elimination play with a 258, 25-4 victory over Nashua.
