Cowgirls Lose At Home To Poplar
Poplar’s girls’ basketball squad took control in the middle two quarters to earn a 57-31 non-conference victory in Culbertson on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
The Indians jumped out to a 13-4 lead in the first quarter. Braelyn Nordwick scored five points in the period.
Poplar increased its advantage to 27-15 at the half. A pair of three-pointers by Bailey Dupree highlighted Poplar’s scoring.

Bainville Girls Stop South Heart
The Bainville Bulldogs knocked off South Heart, N.D., by a 56-37 final during girls’ basketball action in Watford City, N.D., on Saturday, Dec. 14.
The Bulldogs trailed by a 25-20 half-time margin, but Bainville gained a 38-35 lead in the third quarter. Addison Hansen scored six points in the quarter.
