Lustre’s Volleyball Program Features Young Team


Lustre’s volleyball team lines up a young team this year and the players are looking forward to improving throughout the season. “They’re young but eager,” Coach Mary Zerbe said. The oldest two players for the Lions are senior Hannah Brown and junior Lauryn Holzrichter. The squad’s five sophomores are Natalie Fast, Sidney Klatt, Monica Uy, Justice Byers and Holly Hilkemann.

Brockton’s Volleyball Squad Aims To Compete In District 2C


Brockton’s volleyball team features 14 players to battle in the District 2C this season. Returning players for the Warriors include Raykira Track, Marlene Fish, Taylor Cummins, Tatawna Big Eagle, Reese De-Coteau, Danica Bull Calf, Taya Fish, Jade Olney and BraeLynn DeMarrias. Newcomers include Quintana Young. “They’re putting in the work. They’re working hard,” Coach Taylor Day.

The Brockton Warriors are looking to make noise at the state level during this cross-country season. The girls’ team features 12 athletes including sophomore BraeLynn DeMarrias who earned All-State honors last year by placing 11th at the state meet.
