Librarian Mary Drake told the Community News that she is seeking input for an hours change that will be seeking approval at the September meeting of the Roosevelt County Library Board.
“We are asking for public input and comment on the possibility of changing our hours,” said Drake. “We would like to have the opportunity to be open the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 112 calls during Aug. 18-25.
The calls included the following: Aug. 18
Deputies responded to the Poplar city limits for a report of a burglary to a residence. Someone broke into the basement of an apartment. Some tools were missing. Damage was done. There are no suspects at this time. Deputy/coroner assisted the Fort Peck Tribes Department
