The Culbertson airport, Big Sky Field, will receive $396,900 through Airport Improvement Program funding in the government funding and COVID-19 relief package. U.S. Sen. Ike’s To Be Stocked, Open For Fishing May 8

Rainbow trout are expected at Ike’s Fishing Pond and Walking Tail at the end of the month. Approximately 1,000 six-eight inch trout will be introduced to the pond by Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. A public notice appears on page five of this issue of the Community News. Starting May 8, anyone with a valid fishing license is welcome to fish. Visitors can keep their catch. Project

Bill Aims To Help Rural Electric Co-ops Keep The Lights On

As part of his efforts to prevent significant financial losses for Montana electric co-ops and rural telecom providers due to the coronavirus pandemic, U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont.,introduced his bipartisan Flexibility for Rural America Act to give co-ops the option to refinance Rural Utilities Service debt at market rates, making it easier to deliver their critical services to rural America.

Ardell Jeanine Nelson, 88, of Plentywood died March 28, 2021. She was born May 3, 1932, the middle child of Soren Sorensen Rungborg and Myrtle Marie (Andersen) Rungborg, in the old Sheridan Memorial Hospital in Plentywood. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the Reserve Lutheran church. She spent her childhood years in Reserve and attended grade school at the Reserve School
