Lady Wolves Place Third At District Tournament


The Wolf Point Wolves put up a good fight before falling to Malta in four sets at the District 2B volleyball tournament on Saturday, Oct. 30. The Wolves placed third in the tournament and will compete at the divisional tournament in Glasgow starting on Thursday, Nov. 4. Wolves Down Harlem At Tourney


The Lady Wolves edged Harlem in five sets during the District 2B volleyball tournament in Wolf Point on Friday, Oct. 29. Wolf Point scored a 14-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 15-9, victory. Wolves Compete At State Cross-Country Meet


The Wolf Point Wolves earned seventh place in the team standings at the Class B state cross-country meet held in Missoula on Saturday, Oct. 23. Wolf Point’s boys finished with 179 points. Bigfork won the team championship with 100 points followed by Three Forks with 118, Lincoln County with 150 and Glasgow with 155. Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers earned All-State status by placing fifth

Indians Cross-Country Team Earns Honors At Class B State Meet


Poplar’s Jazmin Gorder placed 11th at the Class B state cross-country meet to earn All-State recognition. The senior finished with a time of 21:05.10. Broadwater’s Emma Stolte was the individual champion at 19:18.91. Poplar placed ninth in the team standings with 278 points. The top three teams were Red Lodge, Broadwater and Columbus. Reinita Irizarry placed 34th at 22:22.17.

Lady Wolves Drop Home Match Against Malta Squad


By Bill Vander Weele The Lady Wolves suffered a three-set volleyball loss against Malta at home on Saturday, Oct. 9. Malta scored a 25-20, 25-19, 25-14 victory. Wolf Point fell behind 8-1 in the first set, but the Wolves were able to battle back to 8-4 on a spike by Sierra Hamilton and a serve by Kylie Rodenberg.
