The Wolf Point Wolves earned seventh place in the team standings at the Class B state cross-country meet held in Missoula on Saturday, Oct. 23. Wolf Point’s boys finished with 179 points. Poplar’s Jazmin Gorder placed 11th at the Class B state cross-country meet to earn All-State recognition. The senior finished with a time of 21:05.10. Broadwater’s Emma Stolte was the individual champion at 19:18.91. Poplar placed ninth in the team standings with 278 points. The top three teams were Red Lodge, Broadwater and Columbus. Reinita Irizarry placed 34th at 22:22.17.

Wolf Point fell behind 8-1 in the first set, but the Wolves were able to battle back to 8-4 on a spike by Sierra Hamilton and a serve by Kylie Rodenberg. The Wolves finished with 34 points while Miles City took second with 47 and Glendive placed third with 74 points.
