Wolf Point’s boys took third place with 79 points and the girls scored 19 points during a make-up track meet in Glasgow on Tuesday, April 25. Peyton Summers, a junior, led the Wolf Point’s boys’ attack with three first-place finishes. Summers earned first in the 800 (2:05.70), first in the 1600 (4:47.08) and first in the 3200 (10:23.78). The Poplar Indians have enjoyed plenty of success during recent golf action. Poplar’s Landon Young shot an 87 to earn medalist honors at the Box Elder Invitational. Wolf Point’s tennis players Mahala Moran, Kaleah Miller- Toves and Kaylee Johnson all enjoyed good success during the Townsend Invitational. In singles’ play, Moran had a 4-2 record with victories against opponents from Jefferson, Great Falls Central, Simms and Three Forks. Lions Earn Second At Glendive Meet


The Lustre Lions earned second place in the boys’ standings at the tough Glendive Elks track meet held on Saturday, April 29. The Lions earned 65 points. Glendive topped the field with 88 points and Miles City took third with 63 points. Jasiah Hambira and Johnslee Pierre each earned firstplace honors in Glendive. Hambira, a senior, took first in the triple jump with a mark of 43-10.
