Wolf Point’s Mike Bell was selected the North team’s Defensive MVP at the 36th annual Montana Big Sky Class B All-Star Football Game. South defeated North by a 22-0 final in Red Lodge on Saturday, June 14. The South Defensive MVP was Cael Sell of Townsend. Offensive MVPs were Luke Oxarart of Jefferson High School for the South and his cousin Stockton Oxarart of Malta for the North.

Poplar’s JC Crowley and Circle’s Shaylee Wahl were among the winners at Poplar’s Wild West Days’ rodeo on Saturday. Area runners fared well at the Bear Paw Marathon held in Havre on Saturday, June 7. Peyton Summers finished first in the half marathon with a time of 1:13.26.3. Reilly Rees placed sixth with a time of 1:34.39.7. Sierra Summers earned top honors in the women’s marathon with a time of 3:18.24.7.
