Poplar’s girls’ cross country squad ran to a first-place team showing at the Glasgow Invitational held at Fort Peck on Saturday, Oct. 4. The Indians finished with 27 points. Glasgow took second with 50 and Brockton was third with 72 points. Wolf Point’s Cali Gorder was the overall winner on the girls’ side with a time of 19:41.62. Poplar lost to a strong Forsyth team by a 68-22 final in eight-man football action on Friday, Sept. 26.
