Red Ribbon Runners
The Red Ribbon Run attracted many area athletes this year. The runners from each school who went the longest distances were honored by the Spotted Bull Recovery Center. Those runners included Charlie Kaasa and Ryder Bilger of Nashua, Bryce Fourstar and Isabelle Fourstar of Frazer, Keyden Hutchinson and Kenzlie Copenhaver of Frontier, Andrew Williamson and Cali Gorder of Wolf Point, Isaac Irizarry
Award Winner
Jalen Chapman of Trenton, N.D., has been selected North Dakota’s Senior of the Year for six-man football. He is the son of Arlen (formerly of Poplar) and Jami Chapman. Grandmother is Nancy Garfield of Wolf Point. Jalen was also voted All-State and All-Conference. Trenton won the state title last year and placed second this season.

Wolves Come Up Short At District Tournament
The Wolf Point Wolves had their chances but lost to Harlem in four sets during firstround action at the District 2B volleyball tournament in Wolf Point on Thursday, Oct. 30. The Wolves fell short by a 25-17, 23-25, 24-26, 12-25, final.
In the first set, the Wolves led by a 16-12 margin and increased the gap on a kill by Lauren Rodenberg and an ace by Cali Gorder.

Wolves Fall Against Glasgow Squad
The volleyball season for the Wolf Point Wolves came to a close as the Wolves lost to Glasgow in loser-out play at the District 2B tournament in Wolf Point on Friday, Oct. 31. Glasgow took a 25-22, 2516, 20-25, 25-12 victory.
The Wolves battled back after trailing early in the first set as kills by Anna Matejovsky closed the gap to 18-16.
With the score even at 2020, Glasgow gained the lead
