Championship Hitters


The Wolf Point girls’ softball squad earned the northeastern Montana championship during the eight-team major tournament held in Plentywood. The Yellow Jackets knocked off Plentywood, 9-5, in the tournament’s title contest on Wednesday, June 30. Wolf Point went through the tourney undefeated. Highlights of the game included a home run by Kylie Rodenberg and a double by Katelyn Macdonald.

Area golfers took to the links to have a good time and benefit area health care during the NEMHS’s 24th annual golf tournament held at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Club on Saturday, June 26. Bulls Look To Contend In American Legion Baseball


In their second year of existence, the Post #49 Bulls are looking to continue providing quality baseball in northeastern Montana. The Bulls feature 13 American Legion players including seven who played a good amount for last summer’s team. The Bulls play their home games in Froid. Heading the list of returning players are Issac Johnson, who received All-State honors last season, and hard-hitting
