Wallette Seeks House Position


Kaci Wallette has filed as a Democratic candidate to become the representative of House District 31. “The Indian Caucus reached out and asked me to run for office,” Wallette explained her decision. Incumbent Frank J. Smith, a Democrat, has also filed for the position. Arlie W. Gordon of Fort Peck has filed on the Republican ticket. Wallette served for four years on the tribal council.
