The annual district meeting of the Dakota Indian Presbytery will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week in the Chelsea Presbyterian church. This gathering will embrace delegates from five states and will have as its guests several distinguished workers in Indian affairs from Eastern cities. The five states which will be represented will be Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska

Especially favorable reports marked the annual congregational meeting of the Presbyterian church, held this evening in the church parlors. Neil McFarlan presided at the meeting. Reports from practically every organization in the church were read and discussed.

Eleven men from northeast Montana attended the annual meeting of the Missouri-Sours Projects Association that was held in Minot, N.D, March 28 and 29. A. R. Wei Handel, of Minot, president of the Association, reported on the recent visit to Washington, D. C., by himself and several other members of the Association.

A close check on all petitions for sale and applications for patents in fee in the desirability of retaining lands in Indian ownership by the tribal business committee, was suggester by D. S. Mayer, commissioner of Indian affairs in a letter to James Archdale and Joshua Wetsit of the Fort Peck Tribes.

.50 Museum Opens May 17 The Wolf Point Area Historical Society Museum will open to the public May 17 and will close Sept. 15, the society’s executive board decided at a meeting April 1. Before the meeting, though, President Darrel Delger and Secretary-Treasurer Marvin Presser showed off some of the featured historical objects that will be on display.

Parent-Teacher conferences were held at the Brockton School April 1. Parents were given the opportunity to confer with teachers and report cards for the third nine-week session were given to the parents.
