Joclynn Williams wasn’t the typical contestant during the wild horse races at the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede last week. The 2025 graduate of Wolf Point High School wasn’t only one of the youngest participants, but she was also the lone female. She explained her experience includes broncs during clinics in Poplar for the last four years. T.J. Bow asked her to join his wild horse racing

Ernie Bighorn of the Spotted Bull Recovery Resource Center feels that horsemanship teaches valuable lessons so he was pleased with the outstanding turnout at the animal fun day held at the Wadopana Grounds on Thursday, July 10. The substance free event was geared toward families. It included horse rides, health information and a free breakfast and lunch. “Parents need to stay with kids
